Lucasfilm Chief Creative Officer and Ahsoka showrunner Dave Filoni has offered an update on his as-yet-untitled Star Wars movie. First announced at Star Wars Celebration 2023, Filoni’s debut live-action feature film is intended to wrap up the various story threads from the various Disney+ shows set in the post-Return of the Jedi era. Filoni’s own Ahsoka series, which sees Rosario Dawson play the live-action version of the animated character first introduced in Star Wars: The Clone Wars, is expected to play a major role in helping to set up the climactic conclusion to The Mandalorian era shows.
